Retail Store Agent

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Retail Store Agent in Roseau. The role provides first-level customer support and sales in Digicel Retail Stores, helping the Sales Department meet its sales targets and increasing postpaid, prepaid and home internet activations. The agent also resolves customer complaints and queries.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets by increasing prepaid, postpaid and home internet activations.
• Complete and process service agreements and follow up with the team to ensure successful activations and installations.
• Market new products, services and features to existing and potential customers, and proactively sell add-on products while closing the sale and following procedures.
• Greet customers, understand their needs and explain the features and benefits of products to help them decide.
• Resolve customer complaints, problems and refunds efficiently, liaising with the technical team where needed and arranging repairs and protecting returned stock.
• Keep customer-facing information such as tickets and POS records accurate and up to date.
• Support other areas of the store as required.

Required profile

• 5 CXC passes including Mathematics and English, or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience or experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Telecoms experience.
• Team player, time management, problem solving and ability to work under pressure.
